Assignments for Day 6

·         Check and respond to your e-mail before you return.

·         On Day 6 you will be creating Web pages. Therefore, you need to bring, on a diskette and in hard copy, at least 3-4 URLs that you evaluated for your subject area on Day 2 (or later). These URLs should be related to a topic that you plan to teach by the time we return for Day 6. Also, bring 2 extra blank disks for saving your work and taking home a copy of the freeware program SiteSnagger.

·         Bring a copy of your Influential Person PowerPoint presentation to save as an HTML document and post on the Web.

·         Your fourth lesson plan must be implemented and turned in with examples of student work when you return for Day 6. You will share your lesson plan with the class.

Lesson Plan 4: The fourth lesson plan will be created and implemented between Day Five and Day Six of InTech Training. This lesson plan is due when you arrive for Day Six. This lesson plan will be electronically posted to the database of statewide InTech lesson plans. In this way, all InTech teachers will have access to the Technology-Connected Lessons of peers across the state. The lesson plan will include:

·         Lesson QCC objectives

·         Lesson procedures

·         Lesson materials

·         One whole-group

·         One individual student activity

·         One small group cooperative learning activity

·         One student self-assessment rubric

·         One teacher student assessment rubric

·         One URL-Internet connection to the lesson

·         One new classroom management strategy

·         One or more samples of authentic student work
