Then the KSU ETTC Geek Camp is for you.  During the camp, you will assemble a computer from scratch, install server and client Linux and Windows operating systems, build a wired and wireless LAN, work with open source applications and more.  There will be time to discuss the latest trends in all that is Geek and to learn useful and fun things that will help you at home, in school, and in your career.

Ready, set, action! Campers will learn how to create slideshows and digital stories using free Web 2.0 multimedia tools – BubbleShare, Scrapblog, VoiceThread, and Slide. Students will also learn how to use Digital and Flip cameras.  Students will conclude the week by creating a Claymation project using webcams, animator software and Windows Movie Maker. We will be creative and have lots of fun!

Web 2.0 is upon us and we must educate our children the proper way to use the many tools that Web 2.0 affords them. Campers will be introduced to blogs, wikis, podcasting, photo sharing, web-hosted slideshows, and much more using all FREE applications on the Web! Campers will also learn how to use the digital camera, as well as the Flip video camcorder, to take photographs/videos for their slide shows. We will be creative! Campers are required to have basic computer and Internet skills.

Learn to design and program a robot using a LEGO robotics kit! Program the robots to perform fun tasks with different gears, motors, and sensors. Compete with your classmates in a competition to make your robot come alive and perform different operations.
