Web Development Program for Educators

The following Web Development Programs are specifically for participants who design and maintain school Web pages and seek to enhance their Internet/Web design and development skills. The program consist of a total of 30 contact hours of instruction or 3 SDU credits.

You have one calendar year to complete the program.

Introduction to Web Design

10 hours in WebPage Graphics
(Select one of the following)

Macromedia Fireworks (2 day course/10 contact hours)
or
Introduction to Adobe Photoshop (2 day course/10 contact hours)

10 hours in WebPage Editing
(Select one of the following sets of classes:)

Macromedia Dreamweaver (Beginning and Intermediate / 2 Classes/ 10 contact hours)
or
Microsoft FrontPage (Beginning and Intermediate / 2 Classes/ 10 contact hours)

Using Javascript and other advanced techniques

WebTech – What’s Next After InTech?

The Georgia Educational Technology Training Centers are proud to announce the development of WebTech--a follow-up program to InTech! WebTech focuses specifically on the use of Web Technology in the classroom. Participants are required to create and implement a variety of Web-based projects and activities including a Scavenger Hunt, WebQuest and their very own Class Home page. Integrating Assistive Technology into the Classroom Module
