Accommodations & Modifications

What is the difference?

ACCOMMODATION

  • For students with exceptional needs.

  • Students follow on grade level QCCs. Students are assessed on the same curriculum material as the rest of the students.

MODIFICATION

  • For students with significant disabilities.

  • Students follow off grade level QCCs. Students use same/or similar materials as the rest of the students to meet IEP objectives or other alternate learning outcomes.
