Elementary InTech

Day 1:

After the participants have created an e-mail account, ask them to e-mail you their feelings, questions, or concerns at this point in the InTech training.

Day 2

InTech Participants:
You did a great job during the first session.  I know it was a full day and we covered a lot of ground.  You will be surprised at how much you actually learned that can be applied to other software applications. Please reflect and reply to the following question:  What planning strategies are needed to create an effective technology-connected lesson? Hint: Read the Appendix!!!

Day 3

InTech Participants:
You have been exposed to many different types of technology during the first two InTech classes. Please reflect and reply to the following question: What do you believe the role of technology should be in today's classroom?  Do you believe using technology is important in the lives of your students?

Day 4

InTech Participants:
We have passed the half-way mark.  Welcome back to Day 4! Please respond to the following: You probably have one or two Internet sites that you use quite often and would like to share with the other participants.  Please click the Reply All button and type the URL you would like to share. Be sure to tell your colleagues what makes this site so wonderful!!

Day 5

InTech Participants:
It's Day 5!!!!!!  You have been working so hard!!!   I appreciate your positive attitude and your enthusiasm.  It really makes my job a joy. Please reflect and respond to the following:  How can you encourage other teachers to use technology in the classroom?  How can you serve as a catalyst for technology change in your school?

Day 6

InTech Participants:
Good morning and welcome back to InTech Day 6!  I hope you have found 101 ways to integrate technology into the curriculum. All teachers are faced with more to teach and less time to do it.  How you have managed technology integration in your classroom? Please click the Reply All button and share one good strategy for scheduling computer time that has worked for you.
